Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring telemetry experience, Epic proficiency, and an OH or compact RN license.

Details

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

13-week contract

PCU Float Pool position serving a progressive care unit setting

Estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4

May be required to float to an adjacent OSU-affiliated facility, approximately a 5–6 minute walk away — no commute required

May float to units of equivalent or lower acuity

Telemetry monitoring required

Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

IV start skills required

Telemetry experience required

Epic EMR experience required

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

Local candidates are accepted

All selected candidates are required to complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly upon accepting the position — detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team

Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility

Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period
