Job Title
Required:
Previous knowledge, experience or interest in metal work/fabrication; assembly of products etc.
Ability to learn assembly of a variety of metal products.
2-3 yrs. knowledge experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and accurately interpret prints/or schematics.
Mechanically inclined: able to use a variety of power/air and hand tools including rivet guns.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with regularity. (average parts run 2-15 lbs.).
Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of shift.
High attention to detail & fine tactical ability.
Pallet jack experience Ability to take direction and initiative and work independently as well as a part of a team.
Reliable/dependable attendance record. Contribute to team dynamics, offering solutions to move projects forward.
Cross training on finishing equipment such as a Fladder, Hand grinders, deburring equipment, etc. Minimal computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).
Organizational skills.
Preferred:
Ability to accurately identify various metals such as a variety of Steels, Aluminum, etc.
Job Shop experience.
Manufacturing experience in a Job Shop environment Experience in application of the following: Silicone Butyl Sealants; Gaskets etc.
Education:
High school or equivalent
