Student Assistant 2 - Ani Sci

The student will work with the livestock commodity groups in acquiring educational material on the scope and management practices within the animal industries in Ohio. During the 2026 OSF, the student will provide barn tours to the public for sharing details about the specific species within the requested tour. They will answer questions from the public while working in a CFAES tent located on the fairgrounds and serve as CFAES ambassadors. This responsibility will occur during the 12 days of the Fair, plus additional days for set-up and tear down. They will also be responsible for care of the animals on display in the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association Living Learning Center located in the new Ohio Showcase Building.

Distribution of duties: 10% Gathering educational and promotional materials for use during the OSF. 90% Providing barn tours and care of animals on display during the OSF.
