As our Frontend Engineer, you'll build and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You'll operate with full ownership: deploy daily, make fast decisions, and always aim for clarity.

This is an intense, hands-on Frontend Engineer role with full ownership. We expect you to push for excellence and raise the bar.

Location: Remote with overlap to our New York City HQ (EST)

Where you'll create impact

Build, ship, and own major parts of the product UI in React + Next.js

Design and optimize interactive experiences that make complex workflows simple

Work closely with product, design, and backend to ensure seamless integration and clarity

Contribute to architecture, performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across browsers

Help define our frontend system and component library as we scale

Elevate the quality of the product through thoughtful details, polish, and user empathy

What sets you up for success

Hardcore work ethic and high agency

8+ years of experience in frontend development with React (Next.js a strong plus)

Solid grasp of JavaScript and TypeScript: scoping, closures, context, prototypes, classes, etc.

Strong understanding of responsive UI, accessibility, and usability principles

Experience building and testing APIs; comfort with HTTP, Postman, and debugging

Clear product thinking, eye for polish, and attention to design details

Pragmatic mindset: you move forward, make calls, and optimize for impact

Curiosity and autonomy - you dig in, learn fast, and solve problems without waiting

Compensation & Benefits

Equity: $30,000+ USD

Base Salary: $100,000 – $155,000 USD

Contract type: B2B
