Clerical Assistant
The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing clerical and general administrative support to the student hostels; (b) assisting with procurement, supplies management and maintaining basic stock records; (c) maintaining administrative records and databases, and preparing reports; (d) handling general enquiries, and providing support to students and staff; (e) assisting in various administrative and operational tasks; and (f) performing any other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education; (ii) fast and accurate word-processing skill; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); (iv) proficiency in MS Office applications; (v) a responsible work attitude and the ability to follow established procedures; and (vi) good interpersonal and communication skills. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a computer skills test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
