Are you an experienced retail professional ready to lead a busy liquor retail team and contribute to the continued success of a well-established store?

Liquor Merchant Holdings Pty Ltd operates a customer-focused liquor store providing a broad range of beer, wine, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages, together with reliable customer service and a convenient shopping experience. The business places importance on responsible service, product knowledge, store presentation, and meeting the needs of local customers.

We are seeking a motivated and capable Store Manager to oversee daily operations, lead staff, and support the ongoing performance and growth of our liquor store.

Location: Esperance, WA 6450

Salary: $80,000 to $86,000 per annum plus superannuation

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the liquor store to ensure efficient and effective performance

• Monitor sales, profit margins, expenses, and store performance against financial targets

• Prepare sales forecasts and assist with budget planning and cost control

• Supervise, guide, and motivate team members to maintain strong customer service and operational standards

• Implement promotional activities, product displays, and merchandising strategies to support sales growth

• Manage pricing, stock levels, ordering, supplier deliveries, and inventory control processes

• Ensure adequate availability of beer, wine, spirits, ready-to-drink beverages, and other liquor products

• Maintain accurate business, sales, stock, and operational records in accordance with company procedures

• Ensure the store complies with liquor licensing obligations, responsible service of alcohol requirements, workplace health and safety standards, and company policies

• Develop, apply, and monitor store procedures to support lawful, safe, and effective store operations

Requirements

• At least one year of full-time experience, or equivalent part-time experience, in a similar retail management position

• Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage competing demands in a busy retail environment

• Sound understanding of responsible service of alcohol obligations and age-restricted sales requirements

• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, evenings, and peak trading periods as required
