Senior Software Engineer (0020-0007)

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform, including modules such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter. Work closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions. Leverage expertise in Gosu programming and Java to configure and integrate Guidewire applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and industry best practices. Perform code reviews, debug, unit test, design, code, document software applications and mentor junior developers.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related. Foreign equivalents accepted.

2 years’ experience as a Guidewire developer.

Special Skills Requirements

Must include some experience with: - Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter configuration/integration including Identity Governance/Access Management, Integration Gateway, and App Events - Smart COMM integration experience - J2EE full stack - Integration with any Enterprise Content Management System - SQL stored procedures, SQL Server, and SQL jobs - Azure, Git, Bitbucket, and TeamCity in CI/CD pipeline - SOAP and Restful webservices - Data Dog or Similar application performance monitoring. Position requires Guidewire Certified Ace and Java SUN Certified Programmer certification.
