Job description

Job Listing: Operations & Program Manager

Organization: Phuture Clinicians Phoundation

Location: Remote (Ohio-based preferred)

Status: Exempt, Full-Time (32 Hours/Week)

Employer Status: 501(c)(3) Public Charity; PSLF-Qualified Employer

About the Phuture Clinicians Phoundation

The Phuture Clinicians Phoundation is a newly forming public charity dedicated to diversifying and strengthening Ohio’s healthcare workforce. We champion the next generation of medical, nursing, and pharmacy professionals from lower-income backgrounds by removing the critical financial barriers standing between them and their calling to heal. We operate a Dual-Avenue Funding Model: providing direct-to-school tuition scholarships and direct-to-student supplemental grants for "hidden" educational costs.

Position Overview

The Operations & Program Manager will serve as the primary lieutenant to the Executive Director. This is an immersive "Nonprofit Startup Incubator" role; you aren't just maintaining existing systems—you are working directly with the founder to build a 501(c)(3) from the ground up. You will gain hands-on experience in board governance, regulatory compliance, grant cycle management, and automated operational architecture—skills that take years to acquire in a mature organization.

Key Responsibilities

Personnel Leadership: Serve as the day-to-day supervisor for our internal team, including a year-round AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer and our rotating seasonal high school and college intern cohorts. You will coordinate workflows, clear operational bottlenecks, and track compliance for state and federal grant reporting.

Program & Launch Execution: Manage the backend launch funnels for the foundation's "Scholarship Blueprint" master course. Ensure student success, manage community engagement, and audit student eligibility metrics against our 100-point sliding scale rubric.

Operational & Technical Oversight: Monitor the foundation’s tech infrastructure. This includes ensuring data accuracy for our scholarship-scraping pipelines and managing digital workflows across platforms like Notion, Skool, and Zeffy.

Donor & External Relations: Support the Executive Director in maintaining corporate loyalty giving profiles, managing hospital network prospect funnels, and coordinating outreach for our "Power of 10" donor circles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in project management, startup operations, or nonprofit program delivery.

High technical literacy (comfort utilizing automated workflows, database oversight, and digital platforms).

Exceptional organizational stamina—you are energized by the prospect of "wearing many hats".

Benefits & Perks

Salary: $44,000 – $46,400 per year (Exempt).

PSLF Eligibility: As a 501(c)(3) organization, your employment here qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.

Flexible Schedule: A 32-hour workweek designed to protect your work-life balance while maintaining full operational momentum.

Personal Time: 8 days of paid personal time (accrued as 2 full work weeks per year).

Health & Wellness: * Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA): A $150/month tax-free allowance.

Stride Integration: We provide access to the Stride platform, allowing you to easily shop for and enroll in individual Medical, Dental, and Vision plans that fit your needs.

HSA Compatibility: If you choose a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) through Stride, your HRA and personal contributions can be paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA) for maximum tax efficiency.

Professional Growth:

Founder-Direct Mentorship: Weekly career development sessions focused on nonprofit leadership and startup strategy.

Fractional Development: Access to our professional network and invitations to join board and community partner meetings.

Marketable Skills: Become an expert in the modern nonprofit tech stack (Gusto, Notion, Zeffy).

Remote Flexibility: A true "work-from-anywhere" culture focused on Results-Only Work Environment (ROWE) principles.
