Workshop Manager

We are looking for a Workshop Manager to join our client's team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company vehicles.

Develop and communicate workshop repair and maintenance work plans.

Allocate tasks to technicians in line with the approved work plan.

Ensure workshop turnaround targets are achieved.

Inspect vehicles to determine whether repair or replacement of parts is most practical.

Assist in identifying training needs for all drivers.

Manage junior workshop staff.

Recommend cost saving best practices to the Transport Manager.

Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely, effective repairs.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of light and heavy motor vehicle repair and maintenance.

Solid management and supervisory skills.

Ability to prepare clear technical management reports.

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.

Qualifications:

Qualified Mechanic
