Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Join our cardiovascular imaging team as an Echocardiographer, where you will perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiographic procedures in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. In this role, you will provide ultrasound imaging and diagnostic support for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients while contributing to exceptional patient care and cardiovascular outcomes.
This position supports advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR, LAAO, and TEE and offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a specialized cardiac setting. Call coverage is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform diagnostic echocardiographic procedures including transthoracic, transesophageal (TEE), exercise stress echo, and Dobutamine stress echo
Support advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR and LAAO
Perform imaging and obtain diagnostic measurements for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
Prepare patients and provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging experience
Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic interpretation and patient care
Present diagnostic images and pertinent patient information for physician interpretation
Assist physicians and clinical staff regarding technical aspects of diagnostic testing as appropriate
Maintain adequate supplies and ensure patient and exam areas remain clean and prepared
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and departmental standards
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED required
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program required
1–3 years of echocardiography or cardiac imaging experience required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
RCS, RDCS, RCIS, or RCES credential preferred
Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification required within 6 months of hire
