Role: Salesforce Solution Architect
Location: Hybrid (Columbus OH)
Role Description:
At least 7 years of hands-on experience delivering Salesforce solutions across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, configuration, customization, development, deployment, and support.
Demonstrated success leading Salesforce initiatives within large-scale enterprise organizations involving multiple vendors and stakeholder groups.
Deep expertise in Salesforce ecosystems including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud (Data 360), Lightning Experience, Apex, and related platform capabilities.
Strong background in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs, MuleSoft, middleware technologies, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience implementing DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD automation, source control management, test automation, and secure coding practices.
Thorough understanding of Salesforce security architecture, user access management, governance controls, and compliance standards.
Experience planning and supporting various testing phases including unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and performance validation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Proficiency with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, qTest, Azure DevOps, or equivalent project and quality management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, System Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Technical Architect.
Experience supporting digital modernization programs within regulated industries such as utilities, energy, telecommunications, or similar sectors.
Knowledge of enterprise integrations involving Salesforce and platforms such as SAP, MuleSoft, contact center technologies, and API management solutions.
Familiarity with Salesforce AI capabilities including Einstein AI, predictive analytics, and generative AI features.
Understanding of customer data protection regulations, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
Experience managing large-scale data conversion, migration, and master data initiatives within Salesforce environments.
Knowledge of organizational change management, end-user adoption strategies, and training enablement programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical oversight and governance for Salesforce delivery activities executed by internal teams and external implementation partners supporting the Customer Contact Management (CCM) program.
Lead solution reviews and guide the design, configuration, customization, and integration of Salesforce platforms to align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
Coordinate and monitor testing activities across all phases, ensuring quality standards, defect management, and traceability are maintained through approved testing tools and processes.
Collaborate with implementation partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery, integration, and operational readiness of Salesforce solutions.
Support release planning, deployment execution, cutover activities, post-production stabilization, and knowledge transfer to client support and operations teams.
Ensure Salesforce security configurations, access controls, and compliance requirements are properly implemented and validated according to client policies and industry best practices.
Promote adoption of modern DevSecOps practices, including automated deployments, code quality reviews, security scanning, test automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with enterprise teams to ensure Salesforce solutions integrate seamlessly with surrounding systems such as identity management, customer platforms, analytics tools, and middleware services.
Assist business stakeholders and change management teams with user training, communication planning, adoption tracking, and process transformation efforts.
Establish monitoring and operational governance standards for Salesforce environments, including performance management, issue detection, and proactive support processes.
Participate in program leadership activities including project reporting, risk mitigation, issue resolution, resource coordination, and executive stakeholder communications.
