We are seeking a qualified candidate with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to do what it takes to succeed, for our Terminal Operator opening at our Columbus, OH location.ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, skid steersLoading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucksPerform routine equipment checks and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptlyFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operational guidelines to maintain a safe work areaAssist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free terminal environmentMaintain and operate facilities and equipment; general maintenanceParticipate in safety meetings, training sessions, and ongoing continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredPrevious equipment operating experience (e.g., loader, backhoe, skid steer, etc.) is preferredWorking knowledge of material handling systems, including pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components; a plusStrong communication skills with the ability to work directly with the Terminal Manager and effectively collaborate with the teamDemonstrated commitment to safety, including following established procedures, promoting safe work practices, and actively helping maintain a safe working environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
