Global Programs Coordinator

The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is seeking a Program Coordinator to assist with the management and daily operations of select global programs, including the Global Engagement Program and an extramurally funded award related to global veterinary education and capacity building. The Program Coordinator would be expected to contribute to general administrative assistance including travel and event planning, expense reporting, receiving/tracking/submitting invoices, ensuring compliance with university and sponsor standards, preparation of written reports (technical reports/bulletins, press releases, annual reports) and audiovisual materials (PowerPoint presentations, online content), inventory management for project supplies, meeting scheduling and communications with internal (university) and external partners, and data management. The coordinator would work closely with faculty investigators and other staff/students to facilitate efficient and effective execution of program activities. Additionally, the coordinator may work with government entities and international (overseas) partners to facilitate activities abroad.

Physical Requirements: Sitting/standing at a desk, computer use for long periods of time (6-8 hrs/day). International or domestic travel is not a requirement but may be possible with this position.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience (e.g., Bachelor's degree). Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong written and oral communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong project and time management skills.

Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a Major in communications, business, education, health sciences, international affairs, or other related disciplines. Previous experience in a higher education / university setting. Experience using Workday. Experience writing in a science-based field. International programs administration. Cultural competency. Interest or experience in website editing and/or graphic design.

Target Salary Range: $18.37 - $23.99 per hour; commensurate with experience, internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
