The role We’re looking for GSD Educators to facilitate transformative learning experiences and provide mentorship for students in our Global Secondary Diploma Programme.
You will work closely with a global team to support students develop key competencies and transition into meaningful future pathways.
Key responsibilities Facilitation: Design and facilitate engaging, competency-based courses that foster student agency and support progress toward success indicators Student Mentoring: Support students in building portfolios of evidence for their learning and provide regular feedback to encourage reflection and growth Safeguarding and Wellbeing: Proactively foster an inclusive environment and adhere to safeguarding policies to ensure the welfare of all students Student Pathways: Build community partnerships to help students identify and apply for realistic education and career opportunities Professional Growth: Participate in the Amala Educator Development Programme and contribute to Amala’s culture as a learning organisation You will be successful if you have A Growth Mindset: You are curious, motivated by Amala’s agency-based model, and have a deep belief in competency-based education Facilitation Experience: You have a proven ability to create inclusive, interactive learning environments for diverse groups of young people (ages 16-25) Digital Literacy: You are comfortable using online tools (such as Google Workspace and Slack) to collaborate effectively with a global team Please send your resume/CV
