Software Engineer
My client is looking for two Software Engineers for their location in Columbia, MD. This is a Permanent Position.
My client is interested in locals only and must be a U.S. Citizen.
Responsibilities
Develop or implement algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing or interface constraints
Coordinate software system installation
Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Write and review software and system documentation
Design, develop and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models
Debug existing software and correct defects
Develop simple data queries for existing or future databases
Requirements
Requires 3 plus years as a Software Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Absolutely must have activeTS/SCI with Poly security clearance Client will not look at any candidates that do not have a current, active TS/SCI with Poly level clearance.
Experience with Oracle/Sun Java Programming
Must have experience with Cloud Distributed File System
Must have experience with MapReduce Analytics
Must have experience with Hbase
Must have experience with Cloud Bigtable
Must have experience with Hadoop - Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer preferred
