Business Development & Events Executive – Cayman Islands
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised professional to join a busy Business Development & Marketing team based in the Cayman Islands. This is a fast-paced role supporting global and regional marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on Cayman Islands and BVI operations.
About the Role
In this position, you will support the delivery of business development and marketing plans across multiple practice areas. Your work will span event coordination, client data management, research, and marketing support activities across both internal and external channels.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating the end-to-end organisation, logistics, and execution of office and practice area events
Maintaining and updating the client relationship database to ensure accuracy of contacts, activities, and mailing lists
Managing BD and marketing calendars across global and local teams
Supporting internal communications updates, including intranet content
Maintaining marketing inventory and ensuring stock levels are replenished as needed
Assisting with market and sector research to support targeting initiatives
Supporting the creation of in-house marketing materials under guidance from BD managers
Assisting with legal directory submissions and related documentation
Supporting wider business services functions, including HR initiatives such as career fairs and CSR activities
Completing additional ad hoc tasks as required
About You
To succeed in this role, you should bring a combination of experience, initiative, and strong organisational ability:
Right to work in the Cayman Islands without a work permit
2–3 years’ experience in business development, marketing, or a related field, or a relevant degree
Experience in professional services (legal or financial services preferred)
Proven ability to plan and manage events
Familiarity with client relationship management systems
Experience working within brand guidelines (advantageous)
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva
Ability to work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours requirements
A full, clean driving licence
