Job Description
MDS Coordinator job duties include the assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient care in a rehab and long-term care facility. You collect information and data and use it to create reports on resident health care at the facility.
MDS Coordinator must have knowledge of current state, federal, and CMS regulations, and be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with staff, residents and family members.
A bachelor's degree in nursing along with a valid state nursing license is required. Successful MDS coordinators possess strong organizational and communication skills.Company Description
