Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool RN – Ohio

Schedule: 3x12-hour Night shifts, minimum every other weekend

Highlights:

Float across multiple critical care units including Neuro ICU, CVICU, SICU, and Medical ICUs based on patient acuity and staffing needs

2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts

36 hours of comprehensive orientation to support your success

EPIC charting system utilized facility-wide

Access to robust interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and Physical Therapy

Experience caring for a diverse patient population including transplant patients (kidney, liver, lung, heart)

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission

Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system

Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management

Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Must be willing to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or supervisor

Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract acceptance
