Title: Electrical QA/QC Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 32-month contract

Pay Rate: $50-60/hour based on years of experience

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or inspection roles

• Experience with electrical systems (BESS – Battery energy storage systems or building

systems)

• Experience working on large-scale construction projects (data centers, industrial,

pharmaceuticals, chemical manufacturing, semi-conductors or mission-critical)

• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple teams and stakeholders

Plusses

• Experience with data center or mission-critical environments

• Proficiency with tools such as Procore, BIM 360, or SharePoint (or similar construction

project/document management systems)

• Familiarity with commissioning processes and closeout procedure

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to support a confidential, large-scale,

mission-critical construction project. This role will be responsible for contributing to quality

assurance and quality control processes across all phases of construction, ensuring all work

meets contract specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.

This individual will serve as a key partner to the project team, supporting inspections,

documentation, deficiency tracking, and coordination through commissioning and project

closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate field inspections across multiple trades (mechanical, electrical,

structural, architectural)

• Review inspection reports, test results, and documentation to validate quality and

compliance

• Maintain quality logs, reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation

• Support preconstruction planning, mockups, and pre-installation meetings

• Participate in daily huddles, weekly coordination meetings, and project reviews

• Coordinate with third-party inspectors, testing agencies, subcontractors, and project

teams

• Support commissioning activities and project closeout, ensuring proper turnover

documentation
