Title: Lead QA/QC

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 33-month contract

Pay Rate: $50-80/hr depending on years of experience

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction QA/QC, quality management, or inspection

roles

• Experience working on large-scale construction projects (data centers, industrial,

pharmaceuticals, chemical manufacturing, semi-conductors or mission-critical)

• Strong knowledge of: Quality Control Plans (QCP) Inspections, testing, and verification processes Construction documentation and reporting

• Ability to manage NCRs, punch lists, and deficiency tracking

• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple teams and stakeholders

Plusses

• Experience with data center or mission-critical environments

• Proficiency with tools such as Procore, BIM 360, or SharePoint (or similar construction

project/document management systems)

• Familiarity with commissioning processes and closeout procedures

• LEED accreditation or experience supporting sustainability documentation

• Background in mechanical, electrical, or multi-discipline construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Construction Professional to support a confidential, large-scale, mission-critical construction project. This role will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes across all phases of construction, ensuring all work meets contract specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. This individual will serve as a key partner to the project team, supporting inspections, documentation, deficiency tracking, and coordination through commissioning and project

closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure compliance

with contract and engineering requirements

• Perform and coordinate field inspections across multiple trades (mechanical, electrical,

structural, architectural)

• Review inspection reports, test results, and documentation to validate quality and

compliance

• Identify and track nonconforming work (NCRs) and drive corrective actions through

resolution

• Maintain quality logs, reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation

• Support preconstruction planning, mockups, and pre-installation meetings

• Participate in daily huddles, weekly coordination meetings, and project reviews

• Coordinate with third-party inspectors, testing agencies, subcontractors, and project

teams

• Support commissioning activities and project closeout, ensuring proper turnover

documentation

• Manage and maintain LEED/sustainability documentation as required
