Project Executive – Mission Critical / Data Center Construction

Location: Columbus / Central Ohio

Compensation: Up to $245K+ Base + Bonus + Vehicle Allowance + Full Benefits

My client is actively looking to add a Project Executive to help lead and expand their rapidly growing Mission Critical / Data Center division.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with one of the top builders in the mission critical space. The team is actively delivering large hyperscale and enterprise data center projects and continues to secure repeat work across the Midwest. They are looking for someone that can help lead major pursuits, mentor operations teams, and play a key role in the long-term growth of the division.

Responsibilities

Provide executive oversight on large-scale mission critical/data center projects

Lead project teams across Project Managers, Superintendents, and field operations

Drive client relationships and maintain communication with ownership teams

Oversee scheduling, budgeting, risk management, staffing, and project execution

Support preconstruction, pursuit strategy, and operational planning efforts

Mentor and develop high-performing project teams

Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards

Partner closely with leadership on strategic growth initiatives within the mission critical market

Ideal Background

Experience leading large commercial or mission critical construction projects

Background as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role

Strong understanding of complex MEP systems, commissioning, and fast-paced project delivery

Experience managing large teams and multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships

Data center, advanced technology, industrial, healthcare, or large-scale commercial experience preferred
