Our client is in the Sustainability Waste Management field and they're looking for a Field Sales Representative who will generate new business across the Columbus / Heath Ohio area. You'll join an established National organization with over 2000 employees. They have over 50 strategically located collection, transfer, and disposal assets. They process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream.
Our client is open to any candidates with 12 months of sales experience (phone or in-person sales).
You will spend on average 3 or 4 days a week on the road meeting with clients and potential clients, you must be comfortable with face-to-face sales.
This is a base salary + commission position.
Position Summary
Effectively manage prospects and maintaining key information in Salesforce.com.
Demonstrate expertise in Sustainability Waste evaluation skills.
Work with Regional Account Managers to identify opportunities
Effectively use sales tools (i.e. Salesforce.com, Proposal Tools, TRUX, Pricing Tools)
Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge to prepare complex proposals and make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options.
Qualifications
12+ months of sales experience (open to any industry)
Ability to drive
Ability to pass a drug test
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
