Maintenance Tech

The Jericho Group Consultants is recruiting experienced Commercial Laundry Maintenance Mechanics and Maintenance Technicians for a growing commercial laundry operation with facilities in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Positions Available

Maintenance Mechanic

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Maintenance Technician

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

1st & 2nd Shift Available

40–50 hours per week

Overtime available

Position Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic/Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and performing preventive maintenance on commercial laundry equipment to maximize production uptime and maintain safe, efficient operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair commercial laundry equipment

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment

Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs

Maintain washers, dryers, tunnel washers, ironers, folders, conveyors, pumps, motors, steam systems, gas systems, and pneumatic equipment

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues

Minimize equipment downtime and support production goals

Complete maintenance documentation and work orders

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Commercial or industrial maintenance experience required

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

Experience with commercial laundry equipment is preferred

Experience with CBW Tunnel Washers or Girbau equipment is a plus

Electrical, PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, or welding experience is highly desirable

English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

Dependable, safety-focused, and self-motivated

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
