General MEP Superintendent - Data Centers

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced General MEP Superintendent to oversee and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in our data center projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all MEP operations meet industry standards and project specifications, especially within mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all MEP installation activities on-site for data center projects.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations including NFPA codes.

Lead MEP coordination meetings and collaborate with various trades to prevent conflicts and ensure seamless integration of systems.

Manage the commissioning process of MEP systems to ensure they are operational and meet performance requirements.

Oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance project planning and execution efficiency.

Evaluate project progress and troubleshoot any issues related to MEP systems promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in data center or mission-critical construction projects.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing installations.

Familiarity with BIM processes and construction management software.

Experience with commissioning, QA/QC, and troubleshooting of MEP systems.

In-depth understanding of NFPA standards and compliance requirements.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
