Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven General Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the company's financial integrity by ensuring accurate accounting records, timely financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The Accountant will play an important role in month-end close, general ledger activity, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and audit support. This position offers the opportunity to contribute strategically to financial operations while working with supportive leadership and cross-functional teams focused on teamwork, process improvement, and long-term organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and post journal entries to support accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies while strengthening internal controls and compliance.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and process improvement initiatives.

- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, schedules, and account support.
