Construction Project Manager Columbus, OH

Responsibilities
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Partner closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Participate in preconstruction efforts including estimating, budgeting, subcontractor solicitation, and scope reviews
Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle
Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiations, buyouts, and contract administration
Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and project reporting
Lead project teams while mentoring and developing Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, turnover documentation, and final completion effort
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
2+ years of commercial construction project management experience
Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
Strong understanding of MEP systems, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and subcontractor management
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Procore, and other construction management software
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
