A respected and growing Ohio-based general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of public and commercial construction projects.

This individual will serve as a key leader within the organization, overseeing project teams, strengthening client relationships, driving operational excellence, and ensuring successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused construction professional with a strong background managing complex public and commercial projects, mentoring project teams, and helping drive business growth through exceptional client service and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive oversight for multiple public and commercial construction projects.

Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and community stakeholders.

Support preconstruction efforts, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and strategic planning initiatives.

Monitor project performance, financials, staffing, risk management, and client satisfaction.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Partner with business development and leadership teams to identify and pursue new opportunities.

Foster a culture centered around teamwork, accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Participate in executive planning, operational initiatives, and long-term growth strategies.

Qualifications:

10+ years of construction management experience with a commercial general contractor.

Previous experience leading public-sector and commercial construction projects.

Strong understanding of construction operations, project financial management, and risk mitigation.

Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and develop future leaders.

Experience managing client relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
