Full Time Baker
SALARY $80,000 + SUPERANNUATION
SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Baker to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking and presenting a variety of bread, rolls, pastries and other baked goods while ensuring high standards of quality, food safety and hygiene. The ideal applicant will have relevant qualifications and/or industry experience, excellent baking skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks and Duties
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients in accordance with established recipes and
production schedules.
• Prepare and mix doughs and batters manually or by using commercial bakery
equipment.
• Operate bakery machinery to knead, roll, shape, mould and cut dough products.
• Oversee the preparation, baking, unloading, cooling and finishing of bread, rolls and
other baked goods.
• Decorate and present baked products to meet quality and customer requirements.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of baking ingredients, supplies and packaging
materials.
• Ensure bakery equipment and work areas are cleaned, sanitised and maintained in
compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety standards.
• Follow production schedules to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of bakery
products.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to maintain
consistency and high standards.
• Assist customers with product enquiries, order processing and sales transactions when
required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience as a Baker.
