Senior Android Developer

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in native Android development, Kotlin, and test automation and a proven ability to design, build, test, deploy, and release high-quality Android applications.

Responsibilities:

* Design and build native Android applications for phones and tablets.

* Participate in the full app life cycle including concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to app stores.

* Design and implement application updates with attention to performance and quality.

* Collaborate with product and design teams to define features, prototypes, and estimates.

* Identify potential problems, resolve bottlenecks, and fix bugs prior to release.

* Ensure code quality, maintainability, and automation of the application.

* Write and maintain documentation for features in development and drive best practices for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.

* Typically, 5–7 years of professional experience in Android development.

* Expertise with Android Studio and native Android development.

* Proficient in Kotlin, Web Services, REST services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and XML.

* Proficient with code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket.

* Knowledge of C-based libraries.

* Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with continuous integration and unit testing.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment with strong communication skills.

* Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution focus.
