FTE Job Description
We are seeking a detail oriented PC Refresh /Build Technician to support large scale device upgrade and replacement activities. The ideal candidate will handle imaging, deployment, data migration, and user support to ensure a smooth transition to updated hardware.
Key Responsibilities
Perform end to end PC refresh tasks including imaging, data backup/restore, application setup, and user profile migration.
Coordinate deployment schedules with end users and provide onsite or remote technical assistance.
Document refresh progress, update asset management tools, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues encountered during the refresh process and escalate when necessary.
Meet weekly deliverables and deployment targets to ensure project timelines are achieved
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Windows OS imaging using SCCM, including deployment and basic troubleshooting.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to work directly and effectively with end users.
Solid understanding of hardware components, device setup, configuration, and asset tracking systems.
Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and meet deployment timelines.
Hands-on experience with Windows 11 setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and user migration activities.
Proficiency in Excel for generating hardware requirement reports, deployment progress reports, and completion summaries.
Good working knowledge of ServiceNow, including ticket updates, asset management, and workflow navigation.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience with SCCM, Intune, or similar deployment tools.
Hands-on experience with large-scale PC refresh or enterprise hardware rollout initiatives.
