Technical Buyer (MRO Procurement)

We're supporting a global industrial organization seeking a Technical Buyer to support sourcing activities across maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) categories.

This position is ideal for procurement professionals with experience identifying suppliers, obtaining quotations, evaluating commercial options, and securing competitive pricing for industrial materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source MRO, maintenance, and industrial products from qualified suppliers

• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for ad-hoc and spot-buy requirements

• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms for one-off and non-contract purchases

• Build relationships with suppliers across industrial and manufacturing markets

• Support internal stakeholders with sourcing recommendations and market intelligence

• Identify alternative suppliers to improve cost, lead time, and availability

• Maintain procurement records and supplier information

• Work closely with requisitioners and site teams to support operational requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain

• Exposure to MRO, maintenance materials, spare parts, industrial consumables, or manufacturing environments

• Strong supplier engagement and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced sourcing environment

• Familiarity with industrial supplier networks and markets
