Electronics Engineer (0019-0037)

Develop Airborne Software and Hardware systems in the safety critical environment of commercial aviation. Design, development and testing avionics hardware systems, embedded and desktop software systems, product safety analysis. Lead avionics design process in accordance to AS9100, DO-254, DO-178, ARP4754and ARP4761. Lead and document designs of avionics for FAA and EASA airworthiness certification and aircraft type certification. Conduct safety, and airworthiness testing of avionics, under the guidance of Airbus, Boeing, FAA, EASA and any other industry or regulatory bodies as required.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering plus four (4) years of experience as an Electronics Engineer or similar role. Experience must include:

Four (4) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Electronic circuit design (schematic capture and PCBA)

- Component selection and BOM creation

- Schematic creation for In Flight Entertainment avionics passenger solutions

- PCBA layout for In Flight Entertainment avionics passenger solutions

- Software development in embedded C or similar for In Flight Entertainment avionics systems

- Building and assembly of PCBA prototypes for customer level integration

- Managing electronics component database with configuration management

- Integration of electronics PCBA with embedded software

- DO-160, Airbus ABD0100 and Boeing D6 avionics testing and test plan development

40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm
