Hospice Nurse (RN) – Las Vegas, NV

We have a new employment opportunity for a Hospice RN who will provide holistic care to terminally ill patients by performing initial assessments and designing, implementing, and revising the plan of care in Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a solid clinical background. Prior Hospice experience required.

Hospice RN responsibilities:

• Assessing the needs of terminally ill patients & families, addressing symptoms and providing comfort for the dying patient

• Developing and implementing a hospice care plan that includes medication, procedures, and treatments, while respecting the patient’s goals and family values

• Performing interventions based on the plan of care and Hospice policies & procedures

• Anticipating disease progression and implications for symptom management

Hospice Nurse qualifications:

• RN credential

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program

• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills required

• Experience with care planning, reimbursement, and EMR documentation required

• Prior hospice / palliative care experience is required

• BSN preferred
