About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large scale electrical construction projects across industrial, mission critical, and advanced commercial environments. This leader will oversee full project lifecycle execution — from preconstruction through closeout — while driving safety, quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction on complex projects typically $7M+.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing electrical scopes on fast paced, technically demanding builds and thrives in a national contractor environment where consistency, communication, and operational excellence are non negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead all phases of electrical construction projects ranging from $7M to $50M+
Develop and manage project schedules, manpower plans, procurement strategies, and logistics
Oversee installation of complex electrical systems including medium voltage, distribution, lighting, grounding, controls, and mission critical infrastructure
Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, QA/QC standards, and company best practices
Financial & Contract Management
Own project P&L, forecasting, cost tracking, and margin protection
Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and vendor agreements
Manage procurement of major equipment, long lead items, and subcontractor scopes
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Serve as primary point of contact for owners, GCs, engineers, and trade partners
Lead OAC meetings, progress reviews, and project reporting
Build strong relationships that support repeat business and long term partnerships
Team Leadership
Mentor and direct project engineers, assistant PMs, and field leadership
Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure safe, efficient field operations
Promote a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Required
7–10+ years of electrical construction project management experience
Proven success managing $7M+ electrical projects
Background in industrial, large commercial, data center, or manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of electrical systems, MEP coordination, and mission critical infrastructure
Experience with scheduling software (P6, MS Project) and construction platforms (Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam)
Ability to lead multiple teams and stakeholders across complex, fast track projects
Preferred
Experience with hyperscale or enterprise data centers
Medium voltage and heavy MEP coordination experience
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
PMP or similar certification
