Instructional Assistant

Under the supervision of the Principal, the Instructional Assistant provides student supervision during nutrition break and lunch, supports a safe and positive school environment, and assists with classroom instruction and small-group learning activities as assigned. Positions may be assigned to the upper or lower campus, serving students in grades TK–8. This position is Monday through Friday, 3.75 hours per day, and is dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional success of our students.

Instructional Assistants may be assigned to either the upper or lower campus and will work with students in grades TK–8. This position will work 3.75 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The primary responsibilities include supervising students during nutrition break and lunch and may provide additional classroom support as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Passage of district administered basic skills test or BA/AA degree.

Ability to communicate effectively.

CPR Certification, TB test and Live Scan background check.

Annual Trainings required, Child Mandated Reporting, CPI, Bloodborne Pathogens and Sexual Harassment
