Role Overview
As a Network Engineer, you will support large-scale enterprise network initiatives across ~1,950 remote field offices and campus environments. You will work closely with Project Managers and Service Delivery teams to design, deploy, and maintain advanced network solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead WLAN rollout initiatives across nationwide field offices
• Conduct site surveys and define network/WLAN requirements
• Design, implement, and maintain NAC (Network Admission Control) systems for WLAN and VPN
• Analyze and upgrade network configurations and infrastructure
• Coordinate with field installation teams and manage deployments
• Configure and prepare network devices (Cisco IOS/CatOS)
• Provide L3 support and troubleshooting for network issues
• Maintain documentation: diagrams, standards, procedures
• Monitor and enhance network performance, reliability, and service delivery
• Support LAN/WAN/WLAN/NAC testing and product evaluations
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s + 7 years OR Master’s + 5 years OR 11+ years (no degree)
• 5+ years in large enterprise networking (3000+ nodes)
• CCIE (Routing & Switching / Wireless / Security / Data Center) or equivalent
• 3+ years of AWS networking experience
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, DMVPN, Frame Relay)
• Strong LAN/WLAN expertise (Ethernet, wireless, hardware)
• Experience with Cisco ISE & NAC (wired + wireless)
• Certifications such as CISSP, PCNSE, ITIL (nice to have)
• Strong documentation, planning, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
