VDC Branch Manager (Electrical)

Base Salary: $140,000 - $155,000 + Annual Bonus

We are seeking an experienced VDC Professional to lead and oversee Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and BIM operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and managing the Columbus, OH office VDC and BIM operations
Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
Project Coordination
Coordinate VDC activities across multiple projects to ensure alignment with schedules, project goals, and client expectations
Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to support BIM integration during planning and execution
BIM & Model Management
Oversee the development, maintenance, and quality of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure models comply with company standards and industry best practices
Support integration between BIM platforms and project management systems
Quality Control
Perform ongoing model reviews, audits, and real-time quality control during active projects
Address and resolve coordination or modelling issues proactively
Training & Development
Provide project-specific guidance and support to team members
Stay current with emerging VDC technologies, workflows, and best practices
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate documentation of model updates, design changes, and project decisions
Provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong understanding of construction processes and workflows
Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
