Job description*:

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with strong analytical thinking, excellent observation skills, and the ability to understand complex systems.

You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure the reliability, security and quality of our applications throughout the software development lifecycle.

#Key Responsibilities:

Understand application architecture, data flow, and interactions between microservices to design effective test scenarios.

Apply security testing best practices by leveraging the OWASP Top 10 to identify common application vulnerabilities and ensure security is considered throughout the development life cycle.

Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test strategies across the application stack.

Perform end-to-end system testing, including UI, API, and database validations.

Analyse failures, debug issues, and identify root causes.

Use observability and monitoring tools to investigate production issues.

Develop and maintain automated test suites using modern automation frameworks.

Validate API functionality and create robust API test collections.

Perform database validations by writing and executing SQL queries.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve product quality, identify risks throughout development life cycle.

Participate in CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated quality checks are integrated into the release process.

Use AI responsibly to enhance quality engineering workflows, improve efficiency, and optimize token usage through effective prompting and thoughtful application of AI tools.

#Tools & Technology Stack:

Cypress/Playwright, Postman, PostgreSQL, Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot, Instana, OWASP Top 10, Jira.
