A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Midlevel to Senior Real Estate Associate to join its Chicago office.
About The Role
This role involves advising clients on a wide range of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, developments, leasing matters and joint ventures.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development and leasing.
Assist in real estate financing transactions across asset classes.
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and related documents
Lead due diligence efforts and assess transaction-related risks.
Work closely with partners, clients, and cross-office teams on sophisticated matters.
Take on increasing responsibility for managing matters and client interactions.
Qualifications
3-8 years of law firm experience in real estate transactions
Prior experience in a sophisticated real estate practice is a plus
Exposure to joint ventures and due diligence work

Compensation & Benefits
Base Compensation: $225,000 - $400,000 per year (based on experience and market factors)
