App Developer with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an App Developer to support an intelligence program.

This position is fully on site in Herndon, VA.

This is a long-term opportunity on a newly awarded federal contract.

Responsibilities of the App Developer * Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.

* Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.

* Correct program errors, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

* Ensure software standards are defined and met.

Required Qualifications of the App Developer * Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance * Java development experience * Ability to work with XML * Proven experience in COTS/FOSS integration and support * Ability to troubleshoot and navigate multiple operating system environments including LINUX/Windows * Bachelor's degree Compensation for the App Developer * Salary Range: $130,000-$195,000 depending on experience * Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement This job was posted on June 25, 2026, and will be open for 30 days after posting date.
