As a Baker, you'll play a key role in preparing the breads, pastries, and desserts that our guests enjoy every day by:
Frying donuts and preparing bakery products according to Paris Baguette standards
Decorating pastries, cakes, and breads with toppings and finishing touches
Baking products according to recipes, production schedules, and quality expectations
Scaling, shaping, proofing, and preparing doughs for breads and pastries
Operating ovens and monitoring baking processes to ensure product quality
Preparing ingredients and materials needed for daily production
Following food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance procedures
Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and production areas
Receiving, stocking, rotating, and storing ingredients and supplies properly
Monitoring inventory levels and communicating supply needs to management
Completing production, usage, and waste reports accurately
Identifying and reporting equipment issues to supervisors
Supporting teammates to ensure daily production goals are achieved WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
Culinary, Baking, Pastry Arts, Food Science, or related education strongly preferred
Professional baking, pastry, restaurant, or food production experience preferred
Knowledge of baking techniques, production methods, and food safety standards
Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and quality control procedures
Food Handler's Certification preferred
Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Commitment to continuous learning and receiving feedback

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to ovens, refrigeration, and varying temperatures
