Bartender/ Barista

Overview

Benny and Hash, Lake Conroe's newest and hottest breakfast and lunch concept, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our professional and dynamic team in a fast-paced upscale casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the restaurant industry, particularly in upscale casual dining. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Only experienced an experienced with full availability, weekends required.

Duties

Take accurate food and beverage orders using our TOAST POS system.

Provide detailed menu information, to assist guests in their selections.

Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.

Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Follow opening and closing cleaning duties assigned. Always paying attention to what Running Sidework needs to be done during shift.

Skills

Previous restaurant server experience is essential; upscale casual dining experience is preferred.

Familiarity with Table Service Etiquette is highly desired.

Familiarity with TOAST POS system is highly desirable but will train the right candidate.

Strong time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tables, guest requests, pre bussing and expo/food running.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.

Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations is required.

Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Being a Team Player is a must and having a willingness to work hard and contribute to the needs of the business before the needs of yourself is a must.
