Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the maintenance and reliability of plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000

What's the Job?

Assess all damaged and non-functional equipment to determine necessary corrective actions.

Delegate assignments and provide instructions to maintenance technicians to ensure efficient repairs.

Oversee maintenance activities related to plant equipment, including refrigeration, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Implement solutions swiftly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards across all maintenance operations.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 5 years' experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.

Prior supervisory experience of 2-4 years in a related environment.

Hands-on experience with plant equipment such as flat freezers, refrigeration, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Knowledge of PLCs, welding, plumbing, and electrical systems (including 480V electrical).

Training in HACCP, Lockout/Tagout, GMP, safety, and sanitation protocols.
