We are seeking an experienced and self-directed Data Warehouse Developer to partner with business systems analysts and project managers. In this role, you will translate business requirements into actionable, analytics-ready data solutions. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering clean, well-modeled, and thoroughly tested data, and thrives in an environment that requires clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Profiling: Analyze and profile source systems to determine data availability, quality, and extraction logic.

• Data Modeling: Design dimensional models and star schemas to support complex analytics and reporting needs.

• Data Flow & Mapping: Produce detailed mapping documents that translate business rules into technical specifications.

• SQL Server Development: Build and optimize tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes within SQL Server.

• Database Projects: Create and maintain database projects using Visual Studio for versioned, repeatable deployments.

• ETL Development: Build, schedule, and monitor SSIS ETL pipelines to load data marts reliably.

• Source Control: Manage code changes, branching, and collaboration workflows using GIT.

• Validation & Testing: Conduct rigorous data validation testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business requirements.

• Visualization (Nice-to-have): Assist in building basic dashboards or visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site for the duration of the contract.

• Strong technical proficiency in SQL Server and data engineering principles.

• Hands-on experience with Kimball methodologies for data modeling.

• Proven ability to manage the full data lifecycle, from profiling and design to testing and deployment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical partners.
