Billing Associate

Position Overview
As the Billing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the auditing, submission, and payment of service claims, as well as in applying for and managing clinical staff credentialing.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain all client demographic and financial information.
· Verify and approve all billing entries.
· Submit claims, apply payments, and investigate denials.
· Assist clinical staff in obtaining and/or renewing credentials.
· Answer questions regarding billing from clients and staff.
Qualifications
· Associates degree plus at least one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired.
· Familiarity with client health care information and reimbursement procedures and requirements.
· Attention to detail and good organization skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Must demonstrate integrity, innovation and the ability to work well in a team.
