Value Stream Manager (0071-0005)

Oversee and lead the development and completion of the production plan, process order workflow, and production accounting.

Oversee site raw material and food recovery for the finished goods process, ensuring adequate supply and inventory.

Secure achievable production schedules for the entire supply chain from raw materials to finished products.

Challenge and identify improvement opportunities for capacity utilization in production.

Develop new scheduling and planning principles to improve speed and agility that enhances customer satisfaction with less working capital bound in inventories.

Ensure production has appropriate streamlined and efficient tools to accomplish business needs regarding production accounting, budgeting, scheduling, and optimal equipment utilization.

Ensure flexibility to balance load between sites and recovery lines.

Synchronize lot sizes across production steps and follow through on inventory to ensure flow and balance in working capital.

Mature business processes to be effective and simple while continuously developing SAP processes to improve and simplify business process in production.

Optimize the operations of the Raw Material Warehouse including inventory management, customer satisfaction, and on-time deliveries.

Maintain a relationship with third-party logistics providers (as needed) for raw material support in conjunction with site Production Coordinators.

Ensure operational automation support for plant process controls and programming changes to ensure product and processes are optimized.

Implement and develop information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) solutions that run and secure site production processes and support digital transformation and cybersecurity initiatives.

Ensure the product budgeting process runs smoothly by providing timely and specific information for informed decision making through the budgeting process

Education and Experience Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent based on combination of education and/or work experience) in engineering or related field; plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in job offered or similar occupation.

Knowledge of financial analysis and production processes, SAP ERP, lean manufacturing, and automation.

Experience as a leader in continuous improvement using lean processes in production or supply chain management.
