Schedule: Full-time
BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Research and analyze complex business problems by collaborating with subject matter experts, IT teams, and agency leadership to define priorities, data needs, and performance metrics.
• Extract, integrate, and validate data from multiple agency systems and business intelligence tools, ensuring accuracy and reliability through established data governance and testing practices (e.g., Python, SQL).
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and predictive patterns, and present findings through reports, visualizations, dashboards, and other analytic tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau, Snowflake).
• Recommend actionable business solutions based on analytical insights to support agency goals such as program effectiveness, resource allocation, fraud detection, and quality improvement.
• Support and guide business partners and technical teams in interpreting and operationalizing analytic outputs, deploying dashboards, automated reports, and ad hoc analytics.
• Develop and maintain analytic documentation and best practices, contribute to repeatable analytic processes, and deliver basic training to peers and internal customers on tools, methods, and model interpretation.

-Or completion of associate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 30 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 24 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.
-Or completion of graduate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 12 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.
-Or 36 mos. exp as a Data Analytics Associate, 66930.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
