Senior Structural Engineer

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for their Columbus team! Responsibilities include coordinating structural design with consultants, managing projects with architects, clients, and contractors, building and maintaining client relationships, managing multiple projects at various stages in design, preparing project specifications, managing and assisting staff with document productions in Revit/AutoCAD, performing detailed design and analysis on projects using RISA, Tedds, or Enercalc, performing cost estimation/value engineering, performing site visits for observation and collecting existing information, responding to RFIs, change orders, and permit comments, assisting with proposal writing/fee estimation, performing QA/QC on projects, reviewing shop drawings/inspection reports, maintaining project schedule.

Job Requirements: BS in Structural Engineering, 8+ years of structural design experience, PE registration preferred, advanced technical knowledge (Concrete, Steel, Wood, Masonry and Cold-form), experience in mid-rise multifamily and commercial office building design, proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Word/Excel), familiar with building/material codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, NDS, AISI), experience working on Industrial, Institutional, Higher Education, and K-12 projects preferred.
