PL/SQL Developer

Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest IT Staffing organization, has immediate and exciting opportunity located in Columbus, Ohio. This is an 8 month contract opportunity with likely long term extensions.

The PL/SQL Developer will work with multiple business units to build and configure a new application that meets the needs of the project. This role will work with the project team for analysis and design, coding, configuration, testing and maintaining application performance.

Responsibilities of PL/SQL Developer:

Work with the project team to design, build, and test applications.

Participate in writing and testing test cases as part of System Testing.

Coordinate with offshore developers and on site project team

Participate in gathering requirements in preparation for development and configuration.

Create and deliver design documents

Requirements for PL/SQL Developer:

4 Year degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

3+ year of experience in development and support of Oracle PL/SQL applications

Experience writing and analyzing detailed designs?

Skilled in SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, Oracle Forms, XML, and Unix commands?

Required Skills: Oracle PL/SQL, will be working with procedures, views, and tables.
