Welding Engineer

Now Hiring: Welding Engineer – Robotics & AI Manufacturing Columbus, OH Relocation Assistance Available We’re seeking a Welding Engineer to help build the future of AI-driven robotics and automated welding systems.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll directly contribute to next-generation manufacturing technology that enables robots to adapt, learn, and perform in real-world environments.

What You’ll Do • Run weld parameter experiments (voltage, wire speed, travel speed) • Work alongside robotics engineers on motion and automation strategies • Test robotic welding systems (sensors, inspection, path planning) • Fabricate and prep test coupons for experimentation • Operate AI-driven robotic welding systems • Perform manual welding when needed • Cut, prep, and etch weld samples • Support customer applications (some travel required) What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of robotic welding in an industrial environment • Experience with FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa, or KUKA robots • Strong background in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SMAW • Experience with weld parameter development (steel, stainless, aluminum) • Blueprint reading + weld symbol interpretation • Exposure to DoE (Design of Experiments) • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset Why You’ll Love It • Free daily lunch • Flexible PTO • Full medical, dental, vision coverage • Paid parental leave (6–14 weeks) • 401(k) • Referral bonuses • Competitive compensation • Relocation assistance available Work Environment Fast-paced, innovative, and highly collaborative Your work directly impacts the future of automation and intelligent manufacturing.
